That’s the magic number. If you want to become an expert in something, not just relative to your friends, but the world-class kind, 10,000 hours is the amount of time and effort you need to put in. So, I guess practice really does make perfect.
So now the question is what should I decide to become an expert in? What should I spend 10,000 hours practicing?
Modeling (the Stern kind)? Tetris? A language?
And why do I still type so slowly when I feel like I have been “practicing” typing for so long already?
I must figure out why there are so many cases of girls in Hong Kong holding hands, in which one of the girls is quite “girly” and the other is much less so (to the point where I sometimes think they are boys)
Problem is, I can’t figure out how to look this up on Google without getting “weird” (if you know what I mean) search results…
So I was wondering why the Cheonggyecheon was never used for a scene in Boys Over Flowers — apparently, producers were planning on shooting a scene there but the show had gotten so popular already that people already somehow knew that they would be shooting there and the crowd was too large to continue with the scene there.
